As two Geisha play harmonious music on their three-stringed sanshin, the other five take turns learning how to lasso and strangle a customer until he is rendered unconscious.
- GEISHA LEARNING HOW TO DEAL WITH DRUNK and ABUSIVE CUSTOMERS
On average, each Geisha House had to subdue at least 3 customers a week using this technique. Even the strongest male could be subdued in this manner by several Geisha working together. Once the noose was slipped over his head and around his neck, that pretty much spelled the end of his trouble making.
Chronic “gropers” (and even worse) were usually taken down in 10 seconds or less, and a few remain hospitalized for at least a week. In a Geisha House, TESTOSTERONE was NOT a man’s best friend.
Just remember this one thing : KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF THE GEISHA
Interesting.

The flag of Libya (adopted on November 11, 1977) consists of a simple green field with no other characteristics. It is the only national flag in the world with just one color and no design, insignia, or other details.
I was just thinking about this today. How the hell is it that this piece of shit gets his own holiday?
Lets look at some facts:
1. This guy is credited with “discovering” the Americas when he landed on the island of Hispaniola in 1492. Can someone explain to me how one can discover a land where native peoples have already lived for thousands of years? If I’ve never been to your house, and I come over for dinner one night, have I discovered your house? Can I claim it as my own and presumably have a holiday in my honor after my death?
2. Columbus and his men immediately enslaved 2,000 native people upon their arrival. In the name of God and country, they felt entitled to do as they pleased with them, them being “godless savages” and all. Here is an actual quote from Columbus regarding the native population, ” “It is possible, with the name of the Holy Trinity, to sell all the slaves which it is possible to sell. Here there are so many of these slaves, and also brazilwood, that although they are living things they are as good as gold”3. Columbus and his men were brutal rapists and pedophiles. Check this out (via Tom Hartmann) “Cuneo (one of Columbus’ men) notes that he himself took a beautiful teenage Carib girl as his personal slave, a gift from Columbus himself, but that when he attempted to have sex with her, she “resisted with all her strength.” So, in his own words, he “thrashed her mercilessly and raped her.”
And here is another quote from Columbus himself regarding selling native children as sex slaves: “A hundred castellanoes (a Spanish coin) are as easily obtained for a woman as for a farm, and it is very general and there are plenty of dealers who go about looking for girls; those from nine to ten (years old) are now in demand. “
A real class act there.
3. Columbus and his men tortured the Taino natives. They cut their ears and noses off if any resisted. They beat women and children. Things got so bad that Taino’s began committing suicide en mass:
“As a result of the sufferings and hard labor they endured, the Indians choose and have chosen suicide. Occasionally a hundred have committed mass suicide. The women, exhausted by labor, have shunned conception and childbirth Many, when pregnant, have taken something to abort and have aborted. Others after delivery have killed their children with their own hands, so as not to leave them in such oppressive slavery.” (via Pedro de Cordoba)
4. Columbus and his men were murderers and committed genocide. One quote from the historian Las Casas has always haunted me, “two of these so-called Christian Spaniards met two Indian boys one day, each carrying a parrot; they took the parrots and for fun beheaded the boys.”
Columbus and his brother proceeded to murder everyone living on Hispaniola….those that they didn’t sell into slavery that is. When Columbus arrived, there were 1.1 million Taino’s living there. By 1555 every last one of them had been murdered.
Really great to honor a mass murderer with his own holiday.
Sorry, I know my grammar regarding the quotes included in this post is shoddy, but it is late and I just wanted to get this done.
Fuck Columbus and fuck Columbus day.
China formally kicked off its mass celebrations of 60 years of communist rule with a 60-gun salute that rung out across Beijing’s historic Tiananmen Square earlier today. Hundreds of thousands of participants marched past Tiananmen Square in costume or uniform, with floats and dancers mingling with soldiers and military hardware.
