lovely!

Chinese born Zhang Peng merged his background in painting with his love for photography to create some very eerie portraits, full of drama and theatrics, resorting to intense color use and emotion manipulation. Using mostly little girls as models, he toys with people’s expectations of hope and aspiration usually associated with such young subjects to offer a grotesque view of society’s expectations and perfection ideals.
